Climate Change Reconsidered provides an independent examination of the evidence available on the causes and consequences of climate change in the published, peer-reviewed literature, examined without bias or selectivity. It includes many research papers ignored by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), plus additional scientific results that became available after the IPCC deadline of May 2006.

This book is the first report of the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), an independent network of scientists who are free from the institutional pressures that are applied by the United Nations and its member organizations on the IPCC. With 344 chapters and numbered subsections and more than 4,000 citations to peer reviewed science, it is a major contribution to the international debate over global warming.

With the publication of Climate Change Reconsidered, it is no longer possible to claim that the IPCC’s alarmist reports represent the “scientific consensus” on global warming. There is now a second authoritative voice in the debate, and it concludes that global warming is not a crisis.
